Independence Day

In less than an hour,

一个小时之内，
aircraft from here will join others fromaround the world.
世界各地的军机将联合起来。
And you will be launching the largestaerial battle in the history of mankind.
发动人类史上规模最大的空战。
Mankind.
人类这个字眼，
That word should have new meaning for allof us today.
此刻对于我们而言有了新的意义，
We can't be consumed by our prettydifference any more.
我们不能再为一些小事而自相残杀。
We will be united in our common interest.
要为共同利益而团结一致。
Perhaps it's fate that today is the Forthof July.
也许是上帝的安排，今天正是独立纪念日。
And you will once again be fighting for ourfreedom.
你们要再次为自由而战。
Not from tyranny,oppression or presecution.
不是为了反抗暴政或迫害，
But from annihilation.
而是免遭毁灭。
We're fighting for our right to live.
是为生存的权利而战，
To exise.
为了生存。
And should we win the day,
如果能够胜利，
the Forth of July will no longer be knownas an American holiday,
7月4日，将不再仅仅是美国的假日，
but as the day when the world declared inone voice!
而是世人共同宣誓之日！
We will not go quietly into the night!
我们不会就这样默默的走向黑暗！
We will not vanish without a fight!
我们不会就这样坐以待毙！
We're giong to live on!
我们要继续生存！
We're giong to survive!
我们要度过难关！
Today! we celebrate our Independence Day!
今天！我们要庆祝属于我们自己的独立日！
